Region 665 is located in the High Desert area of Southern California. We are part of Section 10, which encompasses a large part of Southern California and Area D, of which we are one of twelve member regions. Our Region was chartered in 1990 and proudly hosts an annual tournament, The Coyote Classic. We play on the fields at Hook Park located at 14973 Joshua St., Victorville.
Regional Guidelines are ratified by the board of directors and submitted to Area, Section and National staff each year prior to the beginning of the season. We are proud to offer a Parent & Player Handbook as a reference tool for new and returning AYSO families. Visit The Kicker Page to view editions of the Region's newsletter online! All files are in .pdf format and can easily be printed for your convenience.
AYSO Region 665 is a member program of the American Youth Soccer Organization, a nationwide, non-profit youth soccer organization founded in 1964. AYSO is an affiliate member of the United States Soccer Federation. Its programs are based on five principal tenets:
Everyone Plays - Our Region's goal is for kids to play soccer - so we mandate that every player on every team must play at least half of every game.
Balanced Teams - Each year we form new teams as evenly balanced as possible - because it is fair and more fun when teams of equal ability play.
Positive Coaching - Kids win when they are built up, not when they are torn down! We train and encourage our coaches to make the extra effort to understand and offer positive help to our players, rather than negative criticism.
Open Registration - Our program is open to all children between 4 and 18 years of age who want to register and play soccer. Interest and enthusiam are the only criteria for playing.
Good Sportsmanship - We strive to create a positive environment based on mutual respect, rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude, and our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO.

Kids Zone is a dynamic program targeted to eliminate negative sideline behavior.
It is aimed toward producing a thoroughly positive impact on everyone involved in youth soccer.
Region 665 implemented this program in 2001. In order to execute this program, the Region follows its three basic elements:
The Badge. This is a pin-on button bearing the program's logo. A badge will be distributed to every family to wear at games, and will serve as a reminder of the importance of positive sideline behavior.
The Sign. A large sideline, which lists positive behavior standards, will be posted at the entrance of participating fields. Parents and spectators who will abide by these standards are welcome -- all others are not.
The Pledge. We request AYSO parents to sign a pledge when registering their children that holds them to the Kids Zone standards. In order to make this program work, we need your help!
