Our goal at Region 665 is to ensure that you and your child have a fun, safe, successful and rewarding soccer experience. The following is a list of what to expect and what to do when getting started at Region 665.

1. Determine your child's age division. Your child's date of birth dictates in which division he will play:

        Division        Birthdate between
U19 (under 19)      08/01/92 and 07/31/95

U16 (under 16)               08/01/95 and 07/31/97

U14 (under 14)               08/01/97 and 07/31/99

U12 (under 12)               08/01/99 and 07/31/01

U10 (under 10)               08/01/01 and 07/31/03

U8 (under 8)                    08/01/03 and 07/31/05

U6 (under 6)                   08/01/05 and 07/31/07

2. Determine how you would like to volunteer.  AYSO Region 665 is an all-volunteer organization and is run by parents just like yourself. We offer free training and clinics for all aspects of volunteer work. Among the many ways to get involved are:

3. Register your child at one of our Registration Days.  Click here to view our information on our  Registration events. Review our 2011 flyers in English, Spanish and our VIP program in English and Spanish. We have a very comprehensive Parent & Player Handbook that you should read.

4. Purchase your player's equipment.  Gameday uniforms and soccer socks will be provided. Purchase a soccer ball (see the chart below for the appropriate sized ball), soccer shin guards, and soccer cleats. Note that baseball cleats are not allowed. Most sporting goods stores have soccer packages which consist of a ball and soccer cleats. It’s helpful to have some additional soccer socks, comfortable shorts and shirts, and a container for water (or bottled water) for the practices which are usually held twice a week.

                    Division               Ball Size
U19 (under 19)     5

U16 (under 16)              5
